Francesco Tullio Altan (1942)

Francesco Tullio Altan, known as Altan, gave up his studies of architecture in order to devote himself to cinema, both as designer and as scriptwriter.
In 1970 he moved to Brazil, where he created his first comic for children on a local magazine.
In 1974 Altan started to produce comics for italian magazines.
On the pages of "Linus", he created "Trino", a heedless god intent on the creation of the world.
He came back to Italy the following year, making the puppy "Pimpa".
Other comics: the famous metalworker "Cipputi", and several comic novels such as "Sandokan" (1976), "Colombo" (1977), and "Ada" (1978).
